Buddies is an intervention and support service for children with autism and their families. It has been founded by a group of professionals with a combined experience of 25 years working with young autistic people of various ages and abilities and also with their families and external agencies.

Buddies offers both support, non-residential respite, speech and language therapy and can also give families skills to understand and interact with their autistic child.

Buddies is not a “one size fits all “offer but each child will be assessed and a tailor-made plan put into place that suits both the child and his/her family with the aim of lessening the isolation that autism creates.
